Japan is called the "land of the rising sun" and we found out that the sun doesn't always want to rise in Myanmar. We had boat rides, bike rides and lots of laughs discovering Inle Lake and journeying to Meiktila. Enjoy!

After a long night of riding and some good sleep, we were ready to see what Inle Lake had to offer!

There were boats everywhere!

We got a little lost and ended up at a monastery next to this bridge.

Got lost again and ended up at school this time. Watching the boats go down the canal and waving at the little kids was totally worth not knowing where we were!

Finally found the end point and played in some temple ruins!

Nature is taking over!

You can see Kyde on top!

A boat ride with a Burmese Indian Jones!

Gliding through the water gardens!

Back on the bike with a new scarf that Kyde bought from a lady who was lactating through her shirt!

Poppin' plants!

Kyde loves this picture! It looks like she's about to enter the unknown and probably not live to tell about it.

Our early morning captain who fell asleep while we were out!

The moon made an appearance since the sun was shy!

It was freaking cold!

A sunrise with no sun, but pretty!

We met a talented fisherman!

The sun finally found it's way out of the clouds!

Eric glistening with morning dew!

Yup, they are carrying all that on their heads!
SKILLS!

We actually aren't lost!

Well, maybe we are!

Time for awesome photos!

... and some dirty butts!

What the hell does that say? Doesn't matter because that's the way we're going!

We took the other road, but that one looked mighty tempting!

My view!

Another skill that we will never understand!

Hanging out on a break with BELTAR!

VRRRROOOMMM!

A welcoming sunset to a place that would change the course of events in mere hours!
